On November 9th, 10th and 11th, 2024, come and celebrate the Hunting Festival in Bouillon.

The Royal Tourist Information Office of Bouillon will celebrate its traditional Hunting Festival on November 09th, 10th and 11th, 2024.

Every year, in the autumn, the city comes alive to the sound of hunting horns! The festivities start at 10 AM with the opening of the game market & hunting products market and the celebration of the patriotic mass in the church of Bouillon. Then, let yourself be carried away by the good atmosphere, the delicious food, and the entertainment of this great traditional Ardennes festival.

The Royal Tourist Information Office of Bouillon's marquee will be at your disposal to welcome those who feel the cold, where you can warm up with a bowl of soup, mulled wine, or a good "hunting beer" specially brewed for the occasion.

So, come and join us in large numbers! Whether you are enthusiasts or just curious, you will have an excellent day to the rhythm of the Ardennes, at the foot of the famous Bouillon Castle of Godefroy de Bouillon!

The game market and refreshment stands

From 10:00 am, artisans offer you wines and beers, local products, and jams, not to mention all kinds of game. Whole or cut, prepared in pies and charcuterie, you can find boars, roe deer, and deer for sale.

Hunting products

Those less interested in gourmet delights can take the opportunity to update their autumn wardrobe, acquire hunting equipment, or purchase gifts, tanned skins, and other decorative items.

Entertainment

The market is animated by the Horn Players of the Duchy of Limbourg and the Boars of Arlon! At 2:30 PM, a procession will depart from the Dauphin Bastion towards the church for the blessing of the animals.

A patriotic mass

The Horn Players of the Duchy of Limbourg will resonate the walls and hearts. They will begin their serenade at 10:00 AM for the patriotic mass to be held in the church of Bouillon.
